The Hobsons Bay Community Arts Centre, known as 'The Substation' is a high profile community project within the suburb of Newport in the inner west of Melbourne. After 12 years of development, this imposing building is now active, providing multi-purpose studios, workshops, galleries and a large performance space for community groups, artists and performers.

As part of the development, we are seeking expressions of interest from suitable operators to open and run a café within this incredible space. With unmatched Melbourne City views, dramatic architecture, and a solid established clientele of regular visitors, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced operator to really make their mark.
